Featured within the company’s Legendary Christmas Collection e-catalog, the auction offers the highest-bidding Disney aficionado, Nickelodeon®music buff, Smurf™ fan and FAO Schwarz® enthusiast a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring the brands and products they love to life, while helping to make the holidays magical for children less fortunate.

The auction has premier placement on the homepage of the recently re-launched and rebranded FAO Schwarz website where visitors can click to access full details about each of the four prize packages, for which one hundred percent of winning auction bids will be directed to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to give children in need gifts to unwrap on Christmas morning. Winning bidders will receive a special keepsake, representative of their respective prize package, that they can present as a holiday gift, sent in time to tuck under the Christmas tree.

To help even more families donate to Toys for Tots, FAO Schwarz Fifth Avenue in New York City and the approximately 10 FAO Schwarz holiday pop-up locations across the country are now accepting new, unwrapped toys through December 5 and cash through December 24. The stores showcase Toys for Tots signage featuring the tagline “Share the Joy,” encouraging holiday shoppers to support this special initiative.

Below are details of the four “Experiences of a Lifetime” auction packages, which FAO.com visitors can bid on now through December 1:

#1: Disney On Ice Party Package Extravaganza!

Offering the ultimate party for Disney fans, the winner of this auction package will have the opportunity to invite up to 25 children and 25 adults to a Disney On Ice show in any city where the tour is scheduled to stop! The winning child and family will be publicly acknowledged at the beginning of the show as special guests, and each child who attends will receive a Disney costume to wear during the show that they can take home as a keepsake along with a special Disney On Ice gift bag. The one and a half hour party package extravaganza includes catering and photo opportunities with a star from Disney On Ice.

#2: Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest 2011

Who says mega concerts are for adults only?
